Mortgage Applications Fall To 7 Month LowU.S. mortgage applications fell to a seven month low last week as demand for home refinancing loans fell 30 percent. 30 year fixed rate mortgages averaged 5.34 percent down 0.10 percentage point from the previous week.

Oil Rises Above $71Oil prices climbed over $71 a barrel Wednesday as a drop in crude inventories suggested demand should be picking up. Crude for August delivery was up $1.61 to $71.50 a barrel.

Pending Home Sales Rise For 4th Straight MonthPending home sales rose for the 4th straight month, boosted by affordability and special incentives for first time buyers. The pending home sales index rose 0.1% in May after an upwardly revised gain of 7.1% in April.
