Deere 2Q Profit TumblesDeere reported a 38 percent drop in quarterly profit but beat expectations. The company earned $472.3 million or $1.11 a share beating wall street expectations. Revenue fell 17 percent to $6.75 billion. A year ago the company earned $763.5 million or $1.74 a share.

Oil Rises As Crude Supply FallsOil rose toward $62 a barrel followin official government data that showed a wider than expected fall in crude stockpiles last week.U.S. commercial crude oil inventories fell 2.1 million barrels for the week ended May 15. Thats wider than the 0.2 million barrel draw expected by analysts.
