Once Again, Light Volume Takes Over Into Lunch, Markets Slide Higher

Once Again, Light Volume Takes Over Into Lunch, Markets Slide HigherThe common theme has been light volume, markets up.  Is it healthy? No. Does it get the job done? Yes.  When light volume is behind any move in the markets, as a trader, you must be suspect of it. However, no point in fighting city hall on a Friday.  Friday's are almost always up.  Why? Light volume allows for psychology to float the markets higher.  The human race by nature is optimistic unless reason gives them to not be. Throw in a couple fishy buy programs, as well and the want of those in the higher places, for the market to close higher on a Friday and you have the makings of almost always an up Friday.  Why do "they" want the markets to close higher? Let me ask you all this...Who wants to go do lots of spending on a weekend when the DOW was down 500 Friday?  Not many.  How does sentiment change when the markets end Friday on an up note and have rallied over the last two months 30-40%.  A lot of people.  Think about it logically. It makes sense.

Market Tries To Break Down But Fails Again And Again Due To Friday Light Volume Commodity/Bank Push

Market Tries To Break Down But Fails Again And Again Due To Friday Light Volume Commodity/Bank PushThe market down ticks but suddenly bounces higher again negating any downside. This is a direct result of the light volume Friday action.  The 20ma is a key level to watch, also, right below the 20ma there are two other key levels.  That area is a big technical level.  Should that break on any extra volume and it would be significant. However, money should be placed on the light volume prop job until it is proven not to work.  Watch that technical level, should it fail to hold it could be key.
